What’s cookin??

There’s a lot of things happening lately..not to mention lots of things are happening with the people around me rather than me and my normal,pleasant,undisturbed life..I’ve been addicted to a lot of things lately..The highest priority goes to the social networking sites..ya you’re right..Facebook and Twitter..I’m tweeting almost for every 10 minutes..well that kinda helps me to know new people and to read new articles about technology…I’ll tell you whats cooking in the Tech Factory but let me tell you about my second addiction..Guitar and TV series..not the women oriented ones but interesting ones like Supernatural,Dexter,24 and many more..

Coming to technology I’ll have to mention the Adobe Summit that took place a few days back in Bangalore..I missed the chance to attend because of my useless internal exams..nut one of my friend attended the summit..so I’ll pull some info for you and post it in my next blog..

I’ve been using Adobe Creative Suite cS5 lately…If you really want to know about the tech specs of photoshop you gotta get a blend of it..Then there is this Adobe Flash Builder 4 which I’m working on now is an excellent tool for Rich Internet Applications..

Career!!

Yes..It’s definitely been a very long time that haven’t updated my blog..I was not busy but just so much occupied that I couldn’t find time for myself..you can say i was being terse..I’ve been to coimbatore for the past two days..had loads of fun..Thanks to the SSIET college for their hospitality..Especially the student volunteers..

It was really exciting to listen to the Googlers who delivered a kickass session on programming..It really arouse a tremendous level of interest among all the students who attended the session..It made me think whether I should be a programmer or a designer..I was trying to picturise what it would be like if I was in some administration post 10 years from now..trust me it totally sucks..I made up my mind that I should be able to love my work..whatever I do,the choice should be mine..and it should make me happy and happening..

So here it is..I wanna be a designer or a programmer 10 years from now..I even want all my friends to be sure of what they want to be..for which you need to be confident of your field..you should be super strong at your respective fundamentals..here you can get all the possible resources required to enlighten yourself..you can get free access to online tutorials from MIT here..you even have video tutorials for Music and Arts..If you are a programmer and want to test your skills,here we go..In my next post I will provide you with the resources that will help us in problem solving..One more thing if you love web you can enjoy it better only of you have a better browser..so UPGRADE THE WEB..

Another day in college!!!

Before I start my new post,let me give you guys the link to download Fotomix which is an extremely easy software to edit photos.

The day was super boring to start with!!!I bunked my Internet Programming lab today but managed to drag myself to classes.First class was Mathematics and I hate both my lecturer and the subject(lecturer hated more than the subject).I managed to cancel my DBMS class but it was difficult to get other classes cancelled,So I had to restrain myself from sleeping in other classes.

Something really interesting is that someone lit a cigar in front of the fire alarm in hostel just to cross check if the heat sensor is working properly or not..People are crazy and that’s definitely right..

Photography might be just a passtime for some people but for a few people I know it is a field of tremendous interest.They show terrific levels of curiosity in dwelling into the various aspects of photography.I am including this e-book in my blog so that we will be able to express our thoughts more clearly through photos…hope it’ll be helpful Photoshop CS4 for Nature Photographers – A Workshop in a Book

Being Jobless

In the past few days I’ve been so jobless that the only work i got to do was to watch movies.I was really busy finding ways to kill time.I was browsing the pics in my laptop and thought,”dude…why not editing pics??”.Then I started editing pics with the help of my roommate Vishnu.Trust me it was really fun to edit pics.

It was a normal photograph with a few enhancements like saturation of skin tone,de-noise,sharpness,highlights and exposure.One thing i can say for sure is that it is comparatively easier to add these effects using a Mac rather than a Windows machine.

To achieve the desired effects in Mac you can use iPhoto application while in Windows you can use Fotomix which is a free downloadable photo editing tool.
